I'm a Zen Buddhist and received my formal training and lay ordination at Upaya Zen Center in Santa Fe, NM. I was previously a householder in London, practicing for a number of years in the Rinzai Zen tradition and doing service work in the field of addiction and recovery.

I am currently based in Berlin, where I work in sustainability, and am in the process of starting a center in the tradition of socially engaged Buddhism together with my wife Tiara.
