Rabbi Evan J. Krame

Rabbi Evan J. Krame, was ordained as Rabbi by the ALEPH Ordination Program in January, 2015, and as a Spiritual Director in January, 2014. He is the co-founder of the Jewish Studio (www.thejewishstudio.org) a spiritual community of Jewish adults and BAYIT (www.yourbayit.org).

Evan served as an adjunct Rabbi at Congregation Beth El of Montgomery County, a conservative synagogue. As a service leader and teacher, Evan brings innovative approaches to prayer and Torah study. Evan is a participant in Rabbis Without Borders sponsored by CLAL. Evan has been a teacher for New CAJE, Limmud NY, Routes, and in other adult Jewish educational settings.

As a lay leader Evan was recognized for his service with the Hillel Exemplar of Excellence Award, Jewish Federation of Greater Washington's Campaigner of the Year Award, Shared Horizon's Humanitarian of the Year Award among others. Evan is a founding officer of the American Friends of the Anne Frank House.

Evan continues to practice trusts and estates law, focusing on families of persons with a disability, ranging from children to elders. He is married to Jodi, also an attorney. His children, Zachary and Sarah, are launched and living in NYC.
