We're eager to welcome 36 new faces from 8 New York-area synagogues into our network of support. After receiving tremendous interest for the pilot launch of our new SPARK Fellowship to Ignite Synagogue Innovation, a partnership between Clal and UJA-Federation of New York, we selected a cohort of small innovation teams from 8 synagogues that span a diversity of denominations, neighborhoods, and sizes. We're looking forward to our February 1 daylong gathering in New York, where we'll plant roots for the growing community of innovators operating within legacy institutions and delve into the practice of carving out space inside synagogues for disruption and creativity.
