Julie serves as the Associate Pastor of Church of the Covenant in Boston and is the founding director of The Kindling Collective, a multi-faith initiative to provide spiritual nourishment for Boston’s art students and young creatives. A graduate of Harvard Divinity School and an ordained minister of the United Church of Christ, Julie’s training focused largely on the evolution of liberation theologies in Latin America, vibrant and creative preaching and worship leadership, and spiritual development of students and young adults. Julie was part of last year’s Glean Start cohort as she developed the Kindling Collective and she is delighted to continue on this path of spiritual entrepreneurship this year now in a joint venture with her wife, Alyssa!
