Amy Guth
Amy Guth hosts talk radio focused on social issues behind the news on WGN Radio, and is the host of the daily business, technology and economics podcast, and Crain’s Daily Gist for Crain’s Chicago Business. Recently named the NewCity’s 2019 Film50 list, Guth produced and directed the episodic documentary film project about online harassment and suppression, Din, and associate produced, La Mitad Del Mundo, a Spanish-language documentary film about sex trafficking in Ecuador. Previously, Guth was a Senior Facilitator at The Op-Ed Project, an academic media initiative aimed at increasing the diversity of voices in the public narrative. Guth’s work has appeared in various publications including the Los Angeles Review of Books, Los Angeles Times, WGN-TV, WBEZ, MLK50 Justice Through Journalism, WCIU-TV, Chicago Tribune, University of Illinois Press, Orlando Sentinel, Hartford Courant, Sun-Sentinel, Rivet Radio, The Nosher, Monkeybicycle, Jewcy, and The Believer, among others. Guth lives in Chicago and is a daily yoga practitioner and a 200-HR Registered Yoga Teacher with a focus on trauma-informed, accessible and inclusive yoga.
