Mary Patrick holds an MBA in International Business and an undergraduate degree in Human Resource Management (HRM). With a rich background as a youth leader, peer educator, systems thinker, mentor, and coach, she brings extensive experience to her role. Currently, Mary is making significant strides at SAYDS Kenya, where she is dedicated to "planting seeds of change" and cultivating systems leaders capable of driving lasting social transformation.
At SAYDS, Mary focuses on equipping young people with complexity and systems thinking skills essential for tackling complex social issues. The program empowers youth across Kenya to critically analyze challenges in their communities and develop sustainable solutions, fostering a community of engaged citizens committed to advancing their nation and Africa.
Her work addresses youth civic marginalization through design thinking and research methods, ensuring active involvement in governance and policy-making. Mary emphasizes coaching, capacity-building, and nurturing talent, prioritizing realistic change over individual heroics. In future ,she aims through the Accelerate Impact Model (AIM), to guide social entrepreneurs in navigating societal complexities, leading to effective and sustainable outcomes.
