Morgan Limmer
Morgan Limmer is a chaplain, an academic, and supply preacher with a passion for helping people navigate the deeply emotional process of organizing personal belongings tied to grief and trauma. With an MDiv in Chaplaincy from Union Theological Seminary, she combines her spiritual care training with a love of organization to offer compassionate support to those facing difficult transitions.
Morgan believes that both materialism and minimalism can create unnecessary guilt around attachment, recognizing that our material possessions are often interwoven with life's biggest challenges. Her chaplaincy practice challenges these impulses, acknowledging the deep significance our belongings hold in the process of grief.
In her recent work, Morgan has accompanied clients through the challenges of personal loss, divorce, and the death of loved ones, walking them through the oft-neglected, yet painful process of sorting through their cherished items. She has also offered these services to church communities: walking beside clergy as they clear out their offices, empty their sacristy, and prepare for the bittersweet grief of retirement. Bringing an upbeat and creative spirit to her work, Morgan is thrilled to collaborate with peers who share this vocational creativity and is committed to helping others heal through spiritual accompaniment.
