Saadia Ahmed
Saadia is a nonprofit strategy and development consultant at Talem Consulting, a firm dedicated to empowering nonprofits and nonprofit leaders through various nonprofit management trainings and coaching services.
Saadia is a visionary thought leader in the nonprofit industry known for her strategic thinking and commitment to sustainability. She has established and advised multiple nonprofit organizations, and continues to be a social entrepreneur filling gaps in community programs and resources especially for youth and women. She is passionate about women’s empowerment and youth development programs for youth of all backgrounds and abilities.
Saadia’s extensive community work has led her to serve on many Advisory Boards, including the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Faith in Texas, Women Organizing Women Democrats, City of Frisco Urban Forestry Board and Frisco Independent School District Special Needs Advisory Committee.
She is the recipient of several awards and fellowships including “Community Leader of the Year” by CAIR DFW, the “Trailblazer” award by the Texas Muslim Women’s Foundation, the “Unsung Heroes”
Award by Radio Azad, and the Abrahamic Traditions Fellowship by the Chicago Theological Seminary as well as the SHIFT fellowship with GLEAN Network. She is truly servant leader committed to building a stronger community all people feel belonging.
