Joe Frazier

As a retired United States Army and Marine Corps veteran, I function as a compliance officer and operations manager with strengths and experience in human resource management and strategic planning.

I am committed to using my talents/gifts to benefit others regardless of religious affiliation, race, or age. I began my military career at age 17. While an enlisted U.S. Marine, I was meritoriously promoted to sergeant at age 19. Later, I joined the U.S. Army and completed officer’s candidate school, earning a commission. The highlight of my career was commanding a logistics organization of 300 female and male paratroopers.

In addition, I served as a Branch Chief at the Army Personnel Command. During that assignment, I supervised several teams of civilian and military human resource professionals responsible for the career life cycle, counseling, and talent management for over 5000 personnel. Later, I was appointed Inspector General and oversaw investigations about diversity education, equal opportunity programs, intelligence oversight, and the prevention of systemic waste, fraud, and abuse. During my military career, I received several decorations and honors from the U.S. Army, U.S. Marine Corps, and the governments of Australia, Canada, Germany, Spain, Ecuador, and Peru.

My education credentials include a Bachelor of Science degree in Administration and Management, a Master of Business Administration, a Master’s in Public Administration, a post-graduate education degree in Human and Organizational Learning, and a graduate of the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College’s Command and Staff Officers Course, and Combined Arms and Staff Officers Course. Finally, I have a Peace Making Certification from the Training Conflict Transformation Trainers Institute. I ended my civilian career as the director of diversity, equity, and inclusion for one of the Department of Defense’s key organizations.
I am a Presidential Management Fellow, National Urban Fellow, and a 2011 Partnership of Public Service, Emerging Human Recourse Leader.
