Drew Rau is a researcher for the Berkley Center for Religion, Peace, and World Affairs, and the Office of the Vice President for Global Engagement at Georgetown University, where he graduated with a degree in Theology (specializing in Comparative Religions) and Government (specializing in International Relations). Having taken on a wide range of projects over the years, he has now come to focus on the intersection of religion and the technological advances that have and will continue to become interwoven with our everyday lives. Born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona, he considers himself a part of the Jesuit-Catholic tradition while constantly seeking wisdom from diverse traditions based on his lifelong fascination with all forms of religious thought and practice. Now based in Los Angeles, where he lives with his wife and son, he also works as a screenwriter and considers creativity a key aspect of his approach to all his ventures.
