Irem Choksy is a psychotherapist. She has experience working with adults and youth in settings including schools, outpatient and inpatient programs. She is skilled working with individuals and families dealing with a range of psychological issues. Irem enjoys partaking in community engagement; she believes she can bring awareness about issues that are often stigmatized and difficult to talk about. She does this in workshops and over the local radio. Irem has worked with local NGOs in India, Mexico, and Thailand to work on peace building efforts, and has interned with the United Nations in Geneva on promoting mental wellbeing and education. Currently, Irem is the Director of Level of Care Services at a rehabilitative/mental health agency in the Santa Clara County.
