Jeremy Markiz

Rabbi Jeremy Markiz lives in the Washington, DC area where he seeks to explore how, through the lens of Torah, we can inspire justice, love of all people, and build healthy and meaningful relationships with each other and God. He believes that Judaism and Torah have the power to make us better human beings when we bring all of ourselves to engage with tough questions and the world around us.

Rabbi Markiz is a Rabbis Without Borders fellow (2018) and in 2021 received a Certification in Spiritual Entrepreneurship from Clal and the Columbia Business School.

In 2021, Rabbi Markiz launched Next Level Rabbinics (https://www.jeremymarkiz.com/nextlevelrabbinics), a consulting firm, to help rabbis, synagogues, and Jewish organizations communicate clearly in the digital world, develop effective strategies to become more productive, and create amazing adult education programming models.
